For the diode circuit shown,
- VS = 5 V
- R = 1.8 kΩ
- Assume room temperature operation, kT/q = 0.0258 V.
Use the exact diode equation to find the value of saturation-current parameter, IS,
so that the diode current will be exactly iD = 2.3833 mA. (Do not use the on-off model for the diode.)
